He left here about 6 pm, and Sarah just messaged me on Facebook that he's doing really well.
She said he made immediate friends with one of her cats (a big black one like Ollie), and while there was a bit of an adjustment period between OC and Duchess, it has shaken out well.
OC also spent most of the evening in Sarah's mom's chair glued to her side. I told Sarah he was sucking up to the new Food Lady.
So this is just outstanding news. I'm so happy for OC and Beverly and everyone else involved. It sounds like this is the start of a beautiful friendship, and it couldn't happen to a nicer dog. OC so deserves this. :)
