Unless something goes sideways, it looks like Snickers will meet his new mom Friday afternoon.
Toni has filled out the adoption paperwork and sent it in, and now it's just time to wait. I should hear from either Kris or Tim tomorrow to set up the time on Friday.
Snickers' just got his nails clipped, and he'll get a bath tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to this, but sad, too. It reminds me of when I would place a litter of puppies. It's bittersweet knowing you've been a parent to someone and now it's time to give that job to someone else. That's always tough.
I'll post another update when Snickers leaves. He's been a doll to have around, but he's ready to his own forever home and people. :)
